This database of Ohio cherts on CD  covers 17+ chert-bearing geological formations.  The CD is the result of 3+ years of full-time research.

In addition to a literature review and much general information pertaining to Ohio cherts, including collecting localities, there are 239 full-screen, full-color jpegs.  These include numerous photos of chert specimens, natural occurrences, and microscopic/petrographic images.
